insights · our method for successful ai integration

The Sellium Method

Four steps lead from initial enablement to a production-ready AI solution — with a TCO-based ROI view for every AI integration. The result is not a slide-deck strategy but a reliable business case per use case.

method

Four steps to productive AI

Enablement

Training for all business areas on business process automation — the shared knowledge base for the project.

Use Case Discovery

Process analysis and documentation, AI Readiness Check and IT check-up: automation and AI potential in your business processes is identified and documented — every use case stands for a business process that can be automated.

Strategy synthesis

Tailored AI strategy on a TCO basis — including a legally sound AI policy and roadmap.

Piloting & Production Readiness

From piloted quick win to production maturity — measurable, scalable and anchored in operations.

our unique selling point

The Sellium TCO model

Not a consulting step but our product: a reliable business case per use case — calculated in three dimensions.

Monetary

  • Token volume & deployment routing
  • Electricity price, PUE, hardware lifecycle
  • Lease / buy / depreciate

Non-monetary

  • Data sovereignty & data protection
  • Latency & scalability
  • Operational complexity

Compliance

  • ISO 27001 · TISAX · BSI
  • Certification constraints
  • Legally sound AI policy

Others sell AI strategy. We calculate it — down to the token.

How the consulting runs

Two workshops frame the Use Case Discovery; at the end stands the documented AI strategy.

  1. Step 1: 1st workshop

Teaching the fundamentals: artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, automation concepts, show & tell — and the start of the Use Case Discovery (UCD).

  2. Step 2: Use Case Discovery (UCD)

Identification and documentation of automation and AI potential in your business processes, start of the AI Readiness Check (ARC), IT check-up as a deep dive — including preferences on AI infrastructure and existing hardware.

  3. Step 3: 2nd workshop

Detailing and evaluation of the use cases, completion of the AI Readiness Check and capturing customer preferences (voice of customer).

  4. Step 4: AI strategy + AI policy

Data preparation (strategy) and strategy synthesis based on UCD, ARC, evaluation matrix, IT check-up, VoC and the Sellium TCO model — including a legally sound AI policy.

strategy synthesis

From raw data to roadmap

Strategy synthesis runs in two stages — first consolidated in a structured way, then calculated with AI support.

Stage 1 — semi-automated

Data consolidation

  1. Consolidate structured data: UCD, ARC, pitch matrix, IT check-up — business processes with pain points, target AI process, constraints, owner and monthly volume
  2. Process modelling in BPMN 2.0: tasks, gateways, events and sequence flows — the basis for effort and token estimation
  3. Process map: assignment of management, core and support processes
  4. AI potential: token volume forecast with sub-task decomposition and AI-supported process interpretation
  5. IT check-up: IT inventory and voice of customer (e.g. on-premise preference, use case preferences)

Stage 2 — fully automated

AI-based strategy synthesis

Based on a Sellium-structured template, the consolidated data (UCD, ARC, evaluation matrix, IT check-up, VoC), the TCO model and external factors such as memory prices or frontier providers.

Result (excerpt):

  • AI maturity & strategic goals
  • Roadmap (1–3, 4–6, 6–12 months)
  • Quick wins + action plan
  • Legally sound AI policy
  • Model selection
  • Certification constraints
  • Governance, roles, responsibilities
  • Compliance roadmap
  • Risks and countermeasures
  • Change management & enablement
